And so, it’s just right that we make a brief review of this e-bike. Why? The reason is simple. This review will help you decide whether to buy this e-bike or not when it comes back to the market!

Appearance

A combination of black and orange color make up the look SOHOO Folding Fat Tire Electric Bicycle‘s frame. At the crossbar is an orange-colored sticker that carries the brand name. The orange-colored rims look really shiny and stand out due to the blackness of the wheels. This e-bike’s frame design is somehow similar to Trek 20. That is, the upper end of the downtube is linked near the rear end of the crossbar.

Black and orange motif give this bike a boyish and reckless feel.

Another wonderful point to consider is that this bike has excellent weight capacity. Its sturdy aluminum body frame can bear weights up to 325 pounds.

This bike also comes with basic accident preventing features such as headlight, tail light, and reflectors. There’s also a horn installed at the left grip. An LCD installed at the center of the handlebar shows battery power, miles traveled, headlight indicator, and other essential information for driving this e-bike.

Speed and Riding

This e-bike uses a 500W brushless motor that reaches a maximum speed of 25 mph. The motor is powered by a removable anti-theft battery. Charging time is quite long but poses no problem because the battery is energy efficient. Upon taking this bike on the roads, we’ve traveled for 45 miles before the battery became fully drained.

Driving stability is fine given that this bike doesn’t have rear suspensions or rear spring shock absorbers. The fork suspension, sturdy body frame, and well-placed handlebar and seat might be the reason for this.

The dual disc brakes are very reliable. We really appreciate that manufacturers made them to perfection. The brakes have excellent stopping capacity even when discs are wet.
