NuVision 8-inch Full HD Tablet is a slick, ergonomic model that comes with Windows 10 Home. It’s quite expensive, however, still is well-suited for such tasks as browsing the web, has a decent battery life (6 hours) and light at .68 lbs.
The NuVision tablet comes in a neat package and includes a micro USB adapter. This is very convenient if you need to connect USB to micro USB, you don’t have to buy an additional adapter. The tablet itself is slim and compact, but it definitely has a solid, heavy feel to it, like more expensive models. This is clearly a plus.
- Solidly built, with a slick brushed aluminum backing
- Crisp and clear full HD screen with bright, vivid colors
- Thin, compact bezel
- Good packaging
NuVision 8-inch Full HD Tablet contains all the features and characteristics you’d expect from a model of this range, it is also not overly bloated. The tablet is very configurable and can be used with a wide range of applications. High resolution movies run very smoothly, as long as you keep track of the battery.
Its technical characteristics include:
- Intel Atom Z3735F processor
- 8-inch display
- 20 GB available out of the box
- 32 GB installed flash memory size
- Good WiFi connectivity
- Smooth HD support with 1080p movies running without a problem
The tablet uses Windows 10 as its OS. While it is very functional and compatible with PC, many people say that it is less convenient for tablets than Android and iOS. Windows 10 is automatically updated which means you have to wait for a while.
Another thing to consider is that this is a budget model (lowest price was $96.05 before the price hike), so battery life can sometimes be an issue. As long as you’re fine with charging your tablet more often, this is probably not a problem, but it’s definitely something that you should take into account. It mostly depends on how you use the device. Keep in mind that under heavy use, or with media-heavy apps it can be drained really fast. Battery life is perhaps not too much of an issue if you mostly use your tablet for light web browsing and e-mail correspondence.
Overall, NuVision 8-inch Full HD Tablet is good if you want to get the feel of a high-end Windows tablet at a much lower price, because it really has the feel of a high-end model, while staying in the lower price range, and generally does the job.
